Ginger Care

A complete, licensed behavioral health system in your pocket

Our Philosophy

Ginger is committed to providing world-class, cost-effective care when it’s needed most. Through our “Right Care at the Right Time” approach, members can access various levels of care that are tailored to their specific needs, including coaching, individual therapy, and psychiatric services.

Ginger Care is strength-based, meaning that we look at overall functioning in order to promote wellness in all its forms.

Our data-driven approach allows us to be highly responsive to member needs and ensures that treatment is effective, appropriate, and consistent with best practices. Therapies are empirically validated and supported by the latest research in the field, when possible, which means that members are getting the most up-to-date treatment available.

What's the right care?

With Ginger Care, we give every member the support they need, in a sustainable way.

We use an evidence-based approach to care. At the same time, we recognize that individual and cultural differences matter and not everyone responds to treatment in the same way.

To achieve this, Ginger clinicians review data to evaluate member progress in each session, but also consider the broader sociocultural context in their individualized treatment plans - including member preference.

Behavioral health coaching, which meets the needs of 90%+ of our population and is offered as the entry point to our health system, allows us to address individual needs while ensuring that the limited therapy and psychiatry resources are dedicated to those who will benefit most.

Together, this empowers us to deliver the right care, at the right time for each individual member.
