Karan co-founded Ginger.io and currently leads its clinical operations and strategy. He has over 13 years of experience in healthcare from management consulting for biopharma to data analytics, having worked at leading health care firms including ZS Associates and Humedica. A leader in the digital health community, Karan is a frequent speaker on the topics of entrepreneurship, health innovation and new models of care. He has served as a scholar at the Aspen Institute, delivered keynotes at Public Health Institute (PHI) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and recognized as a rising star in Healthcare by LinkedIn's Next Wave. Karan holds his MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan, attended the Harvard Medical School / MIT Health, Science & Technology (HST) program, and received his BA and BS in Economics and Business Administration from UC Berkeley.

Omar is a clinician and stage IV cancer survivor with over 25 years of senior management, medical research and clinical experience. Over the past two decades, he’s served in various senior executive and advisor roles in healthcare, medical device and technology companies, including Accuray, Kona Medical and Samsung. Omar holds a B.A. in chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.P.H. with concentration in cancer epidemiology from Yale University, an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania and an M.D. from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He did his residency training in surgery and radiology at the University of California San Francisco. Omar has been honored as a Howard Hughes and a National Cancer Institute Research Scholar and was named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 2010 Silicon Valley Man of the Year for leading fundraising efforts to support cancer research.

Dr. Udall has over two decades of experience providing direct care to individuals and groups in a variety of settings, including residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs, private practice, and university counseling centers. Prior to Ginger, Dana was the Director of Clinical Specialty Services at the University of Colorado, where she oversaw the Alcohol and Other Drug, Behavioral Health, Eating Disorder Services, Transgender Care, and Assessment programs. She is a licensed Psychologist with a PhD from the University of Southern California and Pre- and Post-Doctoral training from the University of Pennsylvania. In addition to her extensive experience supervising multidisciplinary treatment teams, she has worked across settings to ensure clinical excellence, improve access to care and increase efficiency in service delivery models. Dr. Udall has also spent much of her career training others, including parents, educators, employee groups, and mental health professionals, and writing about a range of mental health topics for publications like Scripps Magazine, Eating Disorders Recovery Today, The Journal of Homosexuality and Psych Central, where she was a regular blogger. She’s also shared her expertise with news outlets like Self Magazine and Time.com. She was most recently the National Medical Director at Ginger before assuming the role of Chief Clinical Officer.

Jodi has been working in the mental health field for over ten years. She received her training and education from the accredited California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. Her experience spans diverse environments using a wide range of different treatment modalities - from working in community mental health using CBT and DBT, to private practice settings using Expressive Art Therapies, to residential treatment facilities using Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness techniques. Presently, Jodi manages, trains and advocates for Ginger’s broad community of clinicians, ensuring their success in this emerging field of teletherapy and telepsychiatry. Her passions include playing electric guitar, classic and psychedelic rock, and seeing live shows.

As a leader in our nationwide medical practice, Dr. Hunt provides clinical oversight to ensure high quality care delivery and adherence to clinical protocols. As a board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Hunt takes a structured and evidence-based approach to medication management and psychotherapy. He has a Master of Science (MS) focused in Health and Health Care Research from University of Michigan and received his medical degree and general psychiatric training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Dr. Hunt believes that psychiatry is the medical discipline that allows the most meaningful physician-patient interaction - and that telepsychiatry is a great way to do this.

As a leader in our nationwide medical practice, Dr. Wetcher provides clinical oversight to ensure high quality care delivery and adherence to clinical protocols. Dr. Wetcher’’s primary focus is collaborative care and pioneered a collaborative psychiatric care model in outpatient psychiatry in the NASA area of Houston, TX. Developed a unique inpatient and outpatient psychotherapeutic treatment modality for men during the Vietnam war era and trained a number of facilities in this modality. Dr. Wetcher received his MD at SUNY Downstate Medical Center College of Medicine and did residency and internship at the Baylor College of Medicine and University of Maryland School of Medicine, respectively.
