Ginger.io therapists have at least a Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or an equivalent field in mental health, and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Ginger.io psychiatrists are licensed doctors with post graduate training and certification in psychiatry. All clinicians are licensed in the states in which they provide care.
The cost per each treatment session will be provided to you in writing prior to the initiation of treatment. You may be responsible for the full amount of these costs, unless otherwise covered by your employer or benefit plans.
Sessions will be conducted via telehealth and will be provided through individual therapy, not group therapy.
You have the right to refuse treatment and the right to choose a practitioner and type of treatment which best suits your needs.
The privacy of most communications between a patient and a mental health counselor or therapist is protected by law, except as discussed in our confidentiality notice. However, there are a few additional exceptions in Washington:
If you believe that a practitioner has acted unprofessionally, you have the right to contact the Washington State Department of Health so you may obtain a copy of the acts of unprofessional conduct listed under RCW 18.130.180.
